Pat King was in court this morn to be sentenced for participating in the Freedom Convoy protests of 2022. King has been sentenced to 3 months house arrest, a 100 hours community service and 12 months' probation by Justice Charles Hackland for his multiple convictions. The Crown working for Premier Doug Ford was pushing for 10 years in prison.
PLUS, we provide the receipts showing that some cuts to foreign aid and only spending money on new programs if spending is cut on old ones is not enough to fight the enormous and often intentional waste of money in the federal government. We need a Canadian version of the Trump administration's Department of Government Efficiency to not just make the cuts but to first find the waste.
